The Lobster Place at Chelsea Market

Summer has me on the lookout for lobster rolls. The Lobster Place is located in the Chelsea Market. If you're into fresh seafood this is the place to be in downtown Manhattan.

The entire box came out to ~$20. I don't think I'd buy it again, unless I was having some major craving, but the roll was filled with deliciously fresh lobster and a little mayo.

Arepa at Arepas Pues Mixtas

Arepa Mixtas- shrimp, chicken, pork, and chicharron or pork rinds. It may look small and expensive at $7, but this is very filling and I couldn't eat more than half of it. Individually I really liked the shrimp with mayo, but I would love to try the arepa with just the pork rinds or cheese. The "bread" itself is made of corn and was crunchy outside but soft inside. It complemented the insides quite well.

LOBSTER ROLL fr. Stop and Shop

Based on a Chowhound tip I decided to try out my first lobster roll. Each roll was meaty with just the right amount of mayo.

The regular price of each roll is 4.50, but for the week they are only 3.99. I somehow got all three for 10.99.
