Burger and Mac & Cheese fr. DuMont Burger

DuMont Burger with American cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and bacon. It also comes with onion rings.

The burger and onion rings on a plate for a better sense of the actual portion.

Pickles and toppings included.

Solo pic of the burger. One of the two bacon slices was burnt to a crisp.

Insides of the burger medium rare.

I couldn't resist ordering some Mac & Cheese. Nicely crispy cheese on top, and it included some tasty (but salty) chunky bacon.

All of which cost ~$34. Yep. The burger was good but I don't think I'd order it again unless I have a serious craving and I can't get to a Five Guys branch. I highly recommend the Mac & Cheese though.

Bacon Cheeseburgers at Five Guys (Forest Hills)

Finally went to Five Guys. The chain prides itself for its fresh ingredients and the taste is definitely above the typical fast food burger chain.

Hmm nicely melted cheese. If I allowed it to stay in the wrap a little longer I think the other side of the cheese would have melted just as well. The photos don't really show it but this burger came with strips of bacon, grilled onions, and mushrooms. Next time I'll pass on the grilled onions bec. it didn't add anything to the burger's taste.

Good burger but I wish it came medium rare, they only do well-done.
